Company Overview
Onelink is a creative-first growth agency. We help brands build their own customer acquisition engines rather than renting demand from someone else.
We work with brands where the purchase is considered and the decision takes time, and we treat creative as the thing that drives performance rather than decoration on a media plan.
The Role
This is a creative-led paid social role. You'll own the day to day of a portfolio of accounts across Meta and TikTok: the build, the optimisation and the delivery relationship with the client. Alongside that, you'll assist with creative direction, generating ideas and fleshing them out into briefs and scripts.
The biggest part of the job is creative. Working out the angle, briefing it properly, testing it and improving it. You'll direct our creative partners (designers, editors and UGC creators) and be the person who decides what gets made and why.
You'll get proper training and build sheets to work from, so you're not left guessing on the technical side. We'd rather hire someone with a real instinct for creative and teach them the rest.
Responsibilities
- Own the day to day of a portfolio of paid social accounts across Meta and TikTok, driving their performance and growth.
- Brief and direct our creative partners, shaping the creative behind the work and generating UGC concepts.
- Keep accounts healthy and performing. Client retention is central to how we grow and we take it seriously.
- Support the onboarding of new clients: research, account build and the first 90 days.
- Research the categories our clients operate in, at onboarding and throughout the account.
- Handle day to day client communication over Slack and Google Meet with clear, useful updates in the client's language. The senior relationship sits with the leadership team, so you're not carrying it alone.
- Keep commercial performance at the front of every decision, not surface metrics.
- Push for better results continuously. Stagnation isn't an option.
What we're looking for
Essential
- 1-2 years hands-on experience in paid social, primarily Meta.
- 1-2 years working on direct response: lead, quote, booking, appointment or D2C purchase.
- Hands-on experience with TikTok ads. TikTok expansion is a big part of why we're hiring.
- Fluent in Meta Ads Manager, and able to build a campaign from a spec or a build sheet.
- A genuine creative instinct. You consume ads, you have opinions on them, and you can say why something works rather than just that it does.
- Able to write a clear brief for static, video and UGC, and give creative partners useful feedback on what comes back.
- Confident writing and testing ad copy: primary text, headlines, CTAs, and the angles behind them.
- Organised, with strong written and verbal communication.
Nice to have, not essential
- Experience on other platforms such as Reddit, Pinterest or LinkedIn.
- Hands-on editing skills. If you can cut a rough video, resize a static or turn raw UGC footage into a testable ad yourself, it will speed you up. That said, we'd rather have strong creative thinking than software proficiency.
- Previous agency experience.
We'll train you on
- Campaign architecture and naming conventions that hold up at scale.
- Budget pacing and scaling across a portfolio.
- Audience strategy: prospecting, lookalikes, retargeting, exclusions, and knowing when broad beats layered targeting.
- Full-funnel messaging and positioning, so you're briefing creative for the whole journey rather than just the conversion ad.
- Owning the compliance process for clients in regulated categories such as insurance, healthcare and finance. Platform policy, ASA and CAP rules, and the client-side sign-off that goes with them.
- Events, tracking and measurement, including pixel and Conversions API setup, event configuration, and diagnosing when the numbers in-platform don't match reality.
- Our reporting approach: building a view of performance a client can act on, not a screenshot of the platform.
The ideal candidate
- Thinks in messaging and angles first, then formats, rather than briefing another version of the last thing that worked.
- Can hold a view on creative with a creative partner or a client and back it with reasoning.
- Takes ownership of their accounts and owns both the wins and the misses.
- Commercially minded and comfortable talking about results, not just channel metrics.
- Thrives in a fast-paced agency environment.
- Enjoys problem-solving and has a growth mindset.
Package and working pattern
- Remote, with one to two days a week in person around Sheffield or Leeds.
- Expenses and mileage covered.
- 28 days holiday plus bank holidays, and your birthday off on top.
- Flexible working hours. We care about the work getting done, not when you're at your desk. Start earlier, finish later, or shape your day around what suits you, as long as you're available for client meetings and team sessions.
- Structured training programme, with build sheets, process and senior support from day one.
- Laptop of your choice.
- Home office fit-out, budget dependent and discussed if you're successful.
- Regular team socials, in the UK and abroad.
- Full benefits package including pension, sick pay and enhanced family leave.
Progression
We're a small team growing quickly, which means real ownership early and visible work. Over time there's scope to grow beyond paid social into the wider growth engine. We'll set out a clear development plan when you join, with regular reviews to keep it on track.
Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
