Residential Care Worker
Location: Residential Children's Home (Shift Work Required) Faversham, Kent
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £31,500 per year
About the Role
Evolve Therapeutic Residential Services is looking for compassionate and dedicated Residential Care Workers to join our team. You will provide high-quality care and support to children and young people, helping them achieve positive outcomes within a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day care and support for children and young people.
- Build positive, trusting relationships and promote emotional well-being.
- Support children with education, health appointments, and daily routines.
- Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and complete daily reports.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people at all times.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding care.
About You
You will have:
- At least 18 months' experience working in a residential children's home.
- A caring, resilient, and child-centred approach.
- A good understanding of safeguarding and children's legislation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- A full UK driving licence (preferred).
