EXCEPTIONAL PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT NEEDED!
This post is to join a vibrant staff team, on a Bank basis, who are committed to supporting and enhancing the life of a 30 year old man with Cerebral Palsy who loves to laugh and have fun.
Sam is a fun loving and sociable young man who loves going out on day trips, being driven in his wheelchair adapted vehicle, concerts and being with people. Sam's goal in life is to have a great time and he needs the support of his fabulous team to achieve that.
All of the staff engaged with Sam are whole heartedly committed to supporting him to engage in all of the social and community activities that he loves. Sam is a joy to work with, and has a good sense of humour. He needs support in all elements of his daily living, however, he is an exceptionally rewarding young man to work alongside.
The post is Bank and cover is needed to allow for annual leave, sickness, and training. All of Sam's team talk about how welcoming and rewarding their role is and we would love for you to be part of it.
Daily tasks include:
· Creating a fun and lively environment for Sam to enjoy
· Organising and supporting indoor and outdoor activities
· Supporting attendance at appointments
· Personal care such as showering, continence care and dressing

· The ability to work on your own initiative and in a team
· Good listening and communication skills
· Flexibility and good time management
Must be a DRIVER

Who You Are
You must have:
- The right to work in the UK
- A good level of English, both written and spoken
