General Maintenance Worker

We are looking for a general maintenance worker to join our team at Harelaw Farm Weddings. We are looking for someone to help keep our venue in top shape, from minor repairs to regular upkeep, preventative maintenance to reactive repairs, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the venue is ready for every wedding!
Key Responsibilities
The role will include elements of carpentry, plumbing, small electrical repairs, groundskeeping, painting.
Carry out regular inspections and maintenance of venue facilities including work both inside and outside the venue.
Conduct routine checks on water and fire systems.
Grass cutting and grounds maintenance. – experience with mowers, quad bikes, tractors?
Feeding onsite livestock.
Preparing grounds for guest arrival in winter – snow clearing, gritting etc
Cleaning duties.
Respond to any maintenance requests from the owners, team or guests in a professional and timely manner.
Keep detailed records and ensure full health and safety compliance.
The candidate
Practical, hands on experience in a similar role.
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Reliable, honest and trustworthy.
Full UK driving license.
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
