Job Overview
This is a permanent role. As a shop assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Mary Ann Marketplace charity shop. You will assist in sorting, pricing, and displaying donated goods, ensuring that the shop maintains high standards of presentation and customer service. By helping maximise sales and efficiency, your contribution directly supports the hospice’s mission to provide care and support for our community. This role requires teamwork, initiative, and a passion for sustainability and charity work.
The Hospice is supported by a retail portfolio of charity shops and an active online presence selling a variety of new and donated quality goods. Profits raised from our shops play a vital part in our income generation activities contributing to the £2.6 million per year it costs to deliver specialist palliative and end of life care in our communities.
