Are you an experienced bar assistant who excels in providing a high standard of customer service with an outgoing personality
Then we have the perfect job for you in our busy hotel bar.
Availability to work evening and weekends is essential.
The contract is zero hours for first 3 months
You’ll be required to ensure guests are served efficiently and smoothly with responsibilities including:
- Take orders for food and beverages and process payment
- Prepare hot, cold and mixed drinks for guests
- Have mixology skills and a good basic cocktail knowledge
- Stock service areas with supplies
- Greet and acknowledge all guests in a friendly, welcoming and professional manner
- Provide high quality, friendly service to all our guests at all times
- Carry out any other duties as required, including cleaning of bar and restaurant area
- Take direction from your shift leader
The ideal candidate will be outgoing, positive, an excellent team player and possess the following skills:
- Previous experience of working in a busy bar and restaurant
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, warm and welcoming manner
- A willingness to learn new skills
- Attention to detail is essential with the ability to follow through & complete all tasks
- Excellent organisation skills
- Able to work under pressure in a busy environment
- Able to work well in a team and on your own initiative
- Good analytical, numeric and communication skills
- Fluent in spoken English
- Have a legal right to work in the UK
- Hold a full driving licence
We are looking for a reliable bar person with a passion for hospitality
The shifts may be varied between morning and evening. Evening shifts will end at the close of service. Ability to drive to and from work is essential due to lack of public transport
