The Role
We are looking for a talented and motivated Hairdresser to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is someone who is as comfortable with a pair of shears as they are with a tint brush. You’ll be responsible for providing a premium guest experience, from the initial consultation to the final reveal.
Key Responsibilities
- Expert Styling: Provide high-quality cutting, styling, and finishing services for a diverse clientele.
- Colour Mastery: Execute advanced colouring techniques, including Balayage, Ombré, highlights, and complex colour corrections.
- Consultation: Conduct thorough 1-to-1 consultations to understand client needs and provide professional recommendations.
- Trends & Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest hair trends and techniques to ensure Hair Evo remains a leader in the Reading scene.
- Retail & Care: Advise clients on professional aftercare products to maintain their look at home.
- Studio Vibes: Maintain a clean, organized workstation and contribute to the positive, professional atmosphere of the studio.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio of work (Instagram or physical) showcasing your cutting and colouring skills.
- Personality: A "people person" with excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Reliability: Punctual, organized, and able to manage a busy column effectively.
- Passion: A genuine love for the craft and a desire for continuous learning.
