Labour Hire are looking for a DEPOT MANAGER for a well-established company based in LEEDS
This is a full-time, permanent position, with NO agency probation period!
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation where you'll have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of a busy depot, overseeing operations, logistics, customer service and warehouse functions.
We're looking for an experienced leader who can drive operational performance, develop a successful team and deliver outstanding customer service.
About You:
- Previous Depot Manager, Branch Manager or Operations Manager experience
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
- Good IT and systems knowledge
- Experience within the hire industry is highly desirable
- Experience within plant hire, tool hire, powered access, lifting equipment, survey equipment, welfare hire or a similar sector would be advantageous
About the Job:
- Monday-Friday, 07:30-16:30
- Salary - Starting from £40,000 per annum (negotiable, dependant on experience)
- Managing the day-to-day operation of the depot
- Leading warehouse, logistics and customer service teams
- Ensuring customer enquiries are dealt with professionally
- Overseeing customer contracts and operational systems
- Planning daily logistics and vehicle movements
- Managing staffing levels, holidays and performance
- Maintaining fleet and depot standards
- Producing operational reports
- Working closely with internal departments to ensure smooth operations
- Driving continuous improvements across the depot
