We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and experienced Electrician to provide an effective high quality electrical maintenance service within the Estates Department of Concord College.
The successful candidate will assist in the maintenance and development of the College’s electrical infrastructure. This will involve working on varied assignments, which can range from installation of vehicle-charging POD points, maintenance and fault-finding of air and ground source heating systems and air con systems to changing a 3-pin plug.
Working hours are 8am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday with daily unpaid breaks totalling one hour (30 minutes for lunch and two 15-minute tea breaks) 37.5 hours per week.
A salary of between £28,500 - £32,500 per annum, based on qualifications and experience. Benefits include contributory pension scheme and lunch which will be provided in the dining room at no charge whilst the kitchen is in operation. There is free parking on site and employees may use the fully equipped gymnasium/sports facilities. Other benefits will include a defined contribution pension scheme, income protection and life assurance schemes.
