Maintaining Our Homes: Cleaning Services Operative

Our Cleaning Services Team plays a vital role in ensuring our estates, communal areas and outdoor spaces are clean, safe and welcoming for the people who live in our homes.
To support this essential service, we’re recruiting a Cleaning Services Operative to join our dedicated Cleaning Services Team. This role is key to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across our estates and communal areas.
The Role
As a Cleaning Services Operative, you will work as part of a team delivering a high-quality, customer-focused cleaning service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning and maintaining communal areas within residential blocks, including stairs, landings, floors, doors and shared internal spaces
- Cleaning and maintaining external areas surrounding our properties, such as bin stores, landscaped areas and car parks, play parks, and other shared outdoor spaces
- Using appropriate equipment and machinery safely
- Reporting any defects, damage or vandalism through the appropriate reporting systems
- Completing required administrative tasks accurately, including digital record keeping

About You
- A practical, reliable approach with the ability to carry out physical work both indoors and outdoors
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and with minimal supervision
- Good customer service skills and a professional, approachable manner
- Basic administrative skills, including the ability to complete forms and use digital systems for reporting
