About the Role
As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of cleaning contracts across multiple client sites, supporting both clients and staff, and maintaining consistently high operational standards.
This is a full-time, permanent Monday to Friday role with flexibility to manage your own working hours. Occasional weekend work or additional hours may be required depending on operational needs.
Ideal candidates will be based within the Preston, South Ribble, Bolton or Blackburn areas and able to travel across Lancashire and surrounding locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple client sites and cleaning teams
- Complete monthly quality audits
- Support operations using CleanLink Mobile software
- Attend monthly Area Manager meetings
- Maintain company vehicles and equipment
- Ensure employee records and documentation are accurate and up to date
- Provide strong leadership and support to site teams
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Health & Safety procedures
- Complete administrative tasks to a high standard
- Carry out ad hoc operational duties as required
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and people management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Cleaning or facilities management experience is helpful but not essential
- Good IT literacy
- Organised, proactive and able to problem-solve effectively
- Full UK driving licence
- Based in Lancashire or surrounding areas
