Megumi Sushi is looking for an experienced and reliable Hot Food Chef to join our growing team.

45-50 hours per week
£14.00 - £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Requirements
Minimum 3 years of professional kitchen experience
Experience working with wok and deep-frying sections
Good knife skills and food preparation skills
Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety
Positive attitude and team player
Preferred
Experience in Japanese, Korean, Chinese or other Asian cuisines
Basic understanding of Japanese ingredients and cooking techniques
Duties
Preparation of ingredients and mise en place
Operating wok and fryer sections
Assisting with daily kitchen operations
Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
Supporting the Head Chef with service preparation
Important
Sushi experience is not required.
We are looking for someone with solid cooking experience, good knife skills, and confidence working with wok and fryer sections. Training on our menu will be provided.
