Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Pub & Restaurant Duty Manager to support the daily operations of our vibrant establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, drinks preparation, and team management. Duties
- Assist the General manager in overseeing daily pub, restaurant and rooms operations to ensure smooth functioning.
- Support the management team in supervising staff, including serving personnel, kitchen staff, and cleaning team.
- Contribute to drinks preparation and hygiene processes, maintaining quality standards.
- Supervise food safety procedures and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Manage team schedules, delegate tasks, and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service.
- Assist with organising events, promotions, and special functions within the venue.
- Social media involvement would be a great asset, however not mandatory.
- Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
- Support in training new staff members and fostering a positive team environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, with supervising experience the minimum requirement.
- Strong background in drinks preparation.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes.
- Experience in serving customers and delivering excellent hospitality service.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Familiarity with restaurant or hotel environments is advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
