Van Dan Removals is looking for a reliable and hardworking Removals Driver/Porter to join our team.
The role involves driving a Luton van to and from removal jobs, as well as working alongside the team to safely load and unload customers' belongings.
We're looking for someone who is reliable, physically fit, comfortable with manual work and confident driving larger vans. Previous removals experience is helpful but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Driving a Luton van between removal jobs
- Loading and unloading furniture, boxes and household items
- Safely securing items in the van for transport
- Protecting and handling customers' belongings with care
- Working efficiently alongside the removals team
- Being polite and professional with customers
- Helping with basic furniture dismantling/reassembly where required
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- No more than 6 points on driving licence
- Ideally 2–3 years' driving experience
- Previous experience driving a Luton van is preferred
- Physically fit and capable of lifting/moving furniture safely
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Comfortable working as part of a removals team
- Good attitude and professional with customers
