Job Summary
Werneth Medical Practice is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and organised Practice Nurse to join our respective team.
You must be proficient in:
Chronic Disease Management/reviews
Women's health
Child health
Basic wound management
Childhood immunisations
General Immunisations
Travel vaccinations
Cytology
You will be expected to take a leadership role in QOF and Enhanced Service achievement. Good Communication skills are essential with both patients and other team members.
This is a part time role with 16 hrs (2 days a week) and an immediate start. Experience is highly desirable but newly qualified GP practice nurses who have recently finished their training may be considered.
We will not give consideration to anyone who does not have the qualifications to start immediately (i.e Cervical smear and Childhood vaccinations training amongst others). UK applicants only
Further practice funded opportunities for development (e.g Nurse prescribing course) may also be available.
