Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Domiciliary Care Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality home care services. The ideal candidate will share our dedication to providing high-quality, person-centred care and will oversee all aspects of care delivery, staff management, compliance, and service improvement. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of care workers delivering domiciliary care services across various client settings.
- Develop, review, and implement personalised care plans tailored to individual needs, including assistance with activities of daily living, medication administration, and specialised dementia or Alzheimer's care.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and care standards.
- Conduct regular assessments of clients’ needs and adjust care plans accordingly to promote independence and dignity.
- Organise staff rotas, manage schedules, and oversee training programmes to maintain high standards of care delivery.
- Monitor the quality of care provided through regular audits, spot checks, and feedback from clients and their families.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care services.
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with legal requirements and organisational policies.
- Promote a positive team environment through leadership, mentorship, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in assisted living or domiciliary care environments, with a strong background in senior or dementia care.
- Previous management or supervisory experience within a domiciliary care setting.
- Knowledge of care planning processes, medication administration, and safeguarding procedures.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team of care professionals.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and compliance tasks.
- Relevant qualifications in nursing or social care (e.g., NVQ Level 3/4 in Health & Social Care) are highly desirable. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional committed to delivering compassionate, person-centred care while leading a supportive team within the community setting.
