Job Summary
The requirements for this role were that we need someone who can analyze our MSD data in preparation for the migration so that we can ensure that we're retaining the data we need to keep without going over the imposed data cap. That would include: Analyzing MSD data overallAnalyzing how and where the data links to external sources (primarily Sitecore and Eloqua)Working with stakeholders to determine when/where to slice the dataFrom point 1 above, will require analysis of data concatenation across multiple modules to ensure we don't lose actual recent data based on a single global cut determination
Key Responsibilities
Will also require recommendations from this role to the stakeholders as to which data set should inform the cut requirements for others.Example: if John Smith recently purchased a course, his transaction data may fall into our "MIGRATE" bucket based on purchase date. But if John Smith is a long-time client and his contact record was created 10 years ago, his contact data may fall into our "STORE" bucket based on contact creation date. His data should definitely be migrated, but might be missed depending on which dataset we start with.Working with stakeholders and Informa to store any historical data that can't be moved to the new system so that it can still be accessed by the business post-migration
