The Role
Working alongside our experienced finishing team, you'll help prepare and finish our bespoke timber products to the exceptional standards our customers expect.
This is a hands-on role where you'll learn every stage of the finishing process, gaining valuable skills that can lead to becoming a fully qualified Paint Sprayer.
We're looking for someone with previous experience preparing or painting timber products. You don't need to be a fully experienced spray painter—we'll provide the training—but you should already understand the importance of achieving a high-quality finish on timber.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing timber windows and doors ready for finishing.
- De-nibbing and sanding components to achieve a flawless surface.
- Cleaning and preparing products before painting.
- Assisting with base coating and finishing operations.
- Learning professional spray-painting techniques under experienced supervision.
- Operating and maintaining paint shop equipment as your skills develop.
- Learning to operate our specialist linear paint spraying machine.
- Carrying out touch-up work where required.
- Helping maintain a clean, organised and efficient paint shop.
- Moving products safely through the finishing process.
- Assisting with wrapping and preparing completed products for delivery.
- Supporting other production departments when required.
What We're Looking For
You'll be someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in producing high-quality results and wants to continue developing your skills.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience preparing, painting or finishing timber products.
- Previous experience working within a joinery or manufacturing environment.
- A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- Great attention to detail.
- Pride in producing exceptional workmanship.
- Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude.
- The ability to work well as part of a close-knit team.
- Good spoken and written English.
