Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Plumbing and gas Heating Engineer to join our team! Duties
- Install, gas central heating system repair, and maintain plumbing and heating systems, including boilers, radiators, pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify issues early and perform necessary repairs promptly.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to assemble or modify components as needed.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely when handling large equipment or materials.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems using mechanical knowledge and basic math calculations to determine solutions.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for each project.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
- Proven experience in plumbing and heating installation or maintenance roles.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and assembly processes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various work environments.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Experience with carpentry work related to system installation or modifications is a plus.
- Valid commercial driving license preferred for transportation between job sites.
