Non Violentiam CIC is a specialist Supported Living provider supporting vulnerable adults to live safe, independent and fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
As a Supported Living Case Worker, you will:
- Provide planned weekly support to clients living independently.
- Develop, review and update person-centred Support Plans.
- Complete accurate Support Notes immediately after every client visit.
- Carry out and review Risk Assessments.
- Help clients register with GPs, dentists and other healthcare providers.
- Support clients with Universal Credit, benefits, budgeting and housing matters.
- Assist clients in accessing education, training and employment opportunities.
- Encourage independent living skills and positive life choices.
- Liaise professionally with Birmingham City Council, health services and partner agencies.
- Maintain accurate electronic case records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Recognise safeguarding concerns and follow safeguarding procedures at all times.
Technology & Digital Skills
We are a modern, fully digital organisation and technology plays an important role in everything we do.
Applicants must be confident using computers and willing to embrace new technology.
You should be comfortable using:
- Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Cloud-based case management systems.
- ChatGPT and other AI tools to improve productivity and assist with drafting documentation (training provided where appropriate).
- Speech-to-text (dictation) software for producing support notes and reports.
- Email, online calendars and video conferencing platforms.
Excellent written English, good keyboard skills and accurate electronic record-keeping are essential.
This role is not suitable for applicants who are uncomfortable using computers or digital systems.

Experience
Experience in Supported Living, Housing Support, Domestic Abuse, Mental Health, Homelessness, Community Support or Social Care is desirable.

If you have the right attitude, commitment and willingness to learn, we will provide full training.
Essential Requirements
- Strong computer skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Confidence learning and using new digital systems.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential.
