This is an exciting opportunity to join City West Country Ltd in our Fleet Operation. This role manages a fastpaced national fleet operation, overseeing £3.5M of annual vehicle movement procurement across thirdparty partners and a 90strong driver team. Youll be responsible for moving 10,000 vehicles a year nationwide, tracking pencepermile performance, and controlling £2.7M of overheads a total £6.2M cost base. Alongside this, youll lead a 15person office team to deliver efficient, costeffective and customerfocused fleet operations.

What Youll Be Doing
Key Responsibilities
- Assists all departments in scheduling to meet customer delivery expectations

Analyses performance data to improve customer service and reduce costs

Ensures IT systems are accurate, effective and continuously improved to streamline routing and scheduling

Monitors financial performance, identifies costsaving opportunities and supports delivery of budget targets

Ensures drivers meet delivery schedules in line with customer expectations

Keeps sales teams and customers informed of any changes to delivery plans

Manages daily driver expenses, hours checks and monthly payroll submissions

Coordinates monthly driver liaison meetings and quarterly driver meetings

Ensures MoDel is used correctly and reports on usage

Provides regular reports on cost savings, efficiency improvements and customer service metrics

Supports special projects through scoping, administration and driving key actions

Coordinates actions from meeting logs and agendas

Supports the creation and communication of quarterly site updates

Oversees team management, ensuring clear communication, coordination and performance across the driver cohort

Ensures vehicles are prepared, scheduled and ready for delivery in line with customer expectations
What Were Looking For
- Previous experience in either large scale operations/logistics or vehicle logistics
- Advanced knowledge and experience of Microsoft office suit
- Advanced general level of computer skills
- Excellent organisational and communication skills via all mediums
- Efficient in time management
