Salary: £17,640 - £17,917pa (a pay award is pending)
Contract Type: Fixed term initially to 21.7.27 with the possibility of extending in the future
Working Pattern: Term Time only. Monday- Friday inclusive 8:30am-3:15 pm

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support children with a high level of need in EYFS and Year 1 both in and out of the classroom.
The role includes:
- Providing classroom support alongside the teacher
- Delivering Interventions
- Helping children to achieve their full potential academically and socially
You will will work closely with the class teacher and Inclusion Leader as part of a dedicated and supportive team committed to ensuring every child thrives.

This role is term time only, The hours of work are Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:15pm
with a half hour unpaid lunch break.
What You Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to:-
- Have good written and verbal communication skills
- Have the ability to work in a team
- Have interpersonal skills at all levels including with children, parents and staff
- Be able to cope with physical and mental demands of the job
- Demonstrate patience, good judgement and common sense
Previous experience working with children, especially in early years and previous experience (personal or professional) of children with autism would be advantageous.
