The Role
As a Self-Employed Tutor with Tutor Learner Connect, you will have complete control over your schedule, workload, and teaching methods. You will plan and deliver tailored sessions designed to build confidence, boost subject mastery, and help students succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging sessions (Online, In-Person, or a mix of both depending on your preference).
- Assess student needs and tailor lessons to individual learning styles and academic goals.
- Maintain a high standard of professional communication and reliability.

Who We Are Looking For
We welcome experienced educators, subject matter experts, postgraduates, and university students with a passion for teaching.
Requirements:
- Strong subject knowledge in your chosen field(s) (e.g., Maths, English, Science, Languages, Humanities, Music, test prep).
- Prior teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience (formal or informal).
- Excellent communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and organised with a professional approach to tutoring.
- Right to work as a self-employed professional in your jurisdiction.
- An up to date Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Safeguarding training
- Public Liability & Professional Indemnity insurance

Experience:
- Tutoring: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred)
- Public Liability & Professional indemnity insurance (preferred)
- Safeguarding certificate (preferred)
