Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Supervisor/Foreman to oversee daily operations within our construction or engineering projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing teams, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction or engineering teams on-site, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely
- Plan work schedules and allocate resources appropriately to meet project deadlines
- Monitor progress and provide guidance to team members, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety regulations
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions promptly
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth communication and resolve any on-site challenges
- Enforce health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with legal standards and company procedures
- Prepare reports on project status, labour utilisation, and safety compliance for management review
Skills
- Proven experience in supervising teams within construction or engineering environments
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and organise staff effectively
- Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail
- Good communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, team members, and stakeholders
- Ability to problem-solve quickly under pressure while maintaining high standards of safety and quality standards
