Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a wide range of beauty treatments, including but not limited to waxing (face and body), facials, and massage therapies.
- Perform advanced facials, including deep cleansing, anti-aging treatments, and tailored facial services based on individual skin types.
- Carry out professional waxing services with expert technique, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and client comfort.
- Deliver various massage techniques, such as Swedish, deep tissue, and aromatherapy, to promote relaxation, healing, and overall well-being.
- Stay up to date with the latest beauty trends, treatments, and industry innovations.
- Conduct client consultations to recommend the most suitable beauty treatments based on individual skin concerns and preferences.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized treatment space in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Ensure that all equipment and products used are of the highest standard and safety.
- Build lasting relationships with clients, offering exceptional service and advice on homecare and wellness routines.
- Handle appointments and client records efficiently, ensuring confidentiality and a high level of customer service.
- Promote and upsell retail products and additional services.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Fully qualified in beauty therapy (NVQ Level 3-4 or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a Beauty Therapist with a strong background in waxing, facials, and massage.
- Expertise in delivering advanced facial treatments such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and anti-aging therapies.
- Strong knowledge of various massage techniques and an ability to tailor treatments to client needs.
- Excellent understanding of beauty products, their ingredients, and their uses.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and retain clients.
- Impeccable hygiene standards and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for beauty and wellness with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Preferred:
- Experience with additional beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions, brow shaping, or makeup.
- Advanced beauty therapy certifications.
- A positive and professional attitude with a strong work ethic.
