IMPORTANT: Applicants must hold a valid driving licence, as you will be expected to travel between both of our stores and our warehouse as part of this role.
This is a full-time position, working 5 days per week. Weekend working will be required, with weekend shifts shared fairly across the team on a varied rota basis.
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Store Assistant / Warehouse Assistant to join the team at Lucy Lous Boutique, a ladies fashion brand.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining customer service and shop-floor duties with warehouse, stock and order fulfilment responsibilities. We’re looking for someone who enjoys fashion, works well in a busy environment and is happy to get involved wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing friendly and helpful customer service in store
- Assisting customers with products, sizing and general enquiries
- Travelling between both Lucy Lous Boutique stores and our warehouse when required
- Keeping the shop floor tidy, organised and well presented
- Replenishing stock and ensuring products are displayed correctly
- Receiving, unpacking and checking stock deliveries
- Organising and maintaining stock within the warehouse
- Picking, packing and preparing online customer orders
- Processing returns and exchanges
- Labelling, folding, hanging and preparing clothing for sale
- Carrying out regular stock checks
- Helping maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse and store
- Supporting the wider Lucy Lous Boutique team with day-to-day tasks
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- A holder of a valid driving licence
- Friendly, approachable and confident with customers
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Organised with good attention to detail
- Comfortable working across our stores and warehouse
- Flexible with working days, including weekends on a fair rota basis
- Able to work efficiently during busy periods
- A good team player with a positive attitude
- Interested in ladies fashion and current trends
- Comfortable with the physical aspects of warehouse work, including moving stock and being on your feet throughout the day
Previous retail, fashion, warehouse or order-packing experience would be beneficial, but the right attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
Working Hours
This is a full-time role working 5 days per week.
Working days will vary and will include some weekends. Weekend shifts will be rotated and shared fairly amongst the team, so flexibility is important.
