Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning, demonstrating attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial settings, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards
- Dispose of waste materials responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls as needed
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning procedures
- Ensure all areas are kept tidy, organised, and presentable throughout the shift
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills and reliability in completing assigned tasks on time
- Physically capable of performing cleaning duties, including lifting light equipment and standing for extended periods
- Flexibility to work part-time hours as scheduled; weekend availability is a plus but not essential
- A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Pay: £12.71-£12.75 per hour
