£29,000 basic salary plus an achievable bonus of up to £3,250 per year

The opportunity
We are an established Currys delivery partner looking for reliable drivers to join our growing Bolton operation.
You will initially work as a 3.5-tonne delivery driver and appliance installer. The purpose of this position is to develop suitable employees into qualified 7.5-tonne drivers through our company-supported training programme.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a full UK driving licence who wants to build a long-term career in professional driving.
What you will do
- Drive a 3.5-tonne delivery vehicle
- Deliver and install household appliances
- Handle washing machines, tumble dryers, cookers, televisions and American-style fridge freezers
- Load and unload vehicles when required
- Provide excellent service inside customers’ homes
- Work safely, cleanly and respectfully
- Complete delivery paperwork and vehicle checks
- Progress towards operating a 7.5-tonne vehicle once trained and qualified
Essential requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Able to start work at 6:15am from the Bolton depot
- Available for a 4-on/2-off rota, including some weekends
- Comfortable with regular heavy lifting
- Polite, reliable and confident dealing with customers
- Able to work carefully inside customers’ homes
- Willing to complete a DBS check, which we will arrange
- Genuine interest in progressing to a 7.5-tonne driving role
Useful but not essential
- Multi-drop delivery experience
- Appliance-installation experience
- Warehouse, removals or trade experience
- Previous customer-facing work
Full appliance and installation training will be provided to suitable candidates.
