Volunteer Fundraising Officer (Remote) – Hearts4Cats CIC

About Hearts4Cats
Hearts4Cats is a grassroots animal welfare organisation dedicated to improving the lives of stray cats through rescue, veterinary support, feeding programmes, and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) initiatives.
Across 7 missions, we have:
- Neutered 45 cats to help reduce suffering and prevent further overpopulation
- Rescued 25 cats and provided essential care and support
We are now looking for an experienced Fundraising Volunteer to help us identify funding opportunities and support our next stage of growth.
The role
As a Fundraising Volunteer, you will support Hearts4Cats by:
- Researching suitable grant opportunities from trusts, foundations, and other funding sources
- Identifying grants aligned with our animal welfare work
- Supporting the preparation and submission of grant applications
- Helping us develop our fundraising pipeline and increase our chances of securing funding
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience with grant research and/or grant applications
- Is confident researching funding opportunities and understanding grant criteria
- Has strong written communication skills
- Is organised, reliable, and able to work independently remotely
- Is passionate about animal welfare and making a positive impact
