Experienced Scaffolding Estimator
Based – Leeds
Salary – Competitive salary (dependent on experience) including company vehicle, iPhone and laptop.
Job Type – Full Time
· We are seeking a highly organised and experienced scaffolding estimator. The right candidate will be part of our already established estimating department and be based in our Leeds depot.
· Have an in-depth knowledge of the scaffolding industry and a minimum of 2 years scaffold estimating experience.
· Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Have strong IT literacy
· Be experienced in interpreting specifications, schedules, and scopes of works
· Be experienced in reading and scaling building drawings
· Be experienced in pricing and preparing tender enquires
· Be able to prepare handover packs for secured tenders including labour budgets for the operations team.
· Have experience and knowledge of the current economic trends and climate to ensure that the business remains competitive when tendering for new contracts.
· Full UK Drivers Licence
· The business does sometimes use Smart Scaffolder/CADS, however previous experience with this is not essential.
Key responsibilities
- Pricing new tenders.
- Using cads to create 3D drawings.
- Securing works for the operations team.
- Building relationships with clients old and new.
- Attending site to carry out surveys.
Package
· Salary Negotiable dependant on experience. Good package for right candidate.
· Company car available or car allowance.
