Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Caravan and Motorhome Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of caravans and motorhomes to identify mechanical issues and system faults
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components, including engines, brakes, electrical systems, plumbing, and appliances
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs, replacements, and upgrades
- Diagnose complex mechanical problems using technical manuals, diagnostic equipment, and your own expertise
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain detailed service records, repair logs, and parts inventory documentation
- Collaborate with team members to complete jobs efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge of caravans, motorhomes, or similar vehicles
- Experience using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Proficiency with power tools for various repair tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot vehicle issues effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certifications or training in vehicle mechanics or automotive technology are a plus
