Marketing & Communications Manager
Reports to: Operations Director
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum
Location: Basingstoke - Hybrid (with occasional travel to office as required)/Remote
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full time)
Skylight Psychiatry is a forward thinking, dynamic mental health service. We are a CQC registered service delivering person-centred assessment, care and support, with our ultimate aim being to improve the lives of people with neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD, Autism and Learning disabilities.
The Marketing & Communications Manager is a senior operational role responsible for the strategic development and delivery of all marketing and communications activity across Skylight Psychiatry. Sitting at OMT level, this role leads on positioning Skylight as a leading provider of ADHD and Autism assessment services, driving growth across both NHS Right to Choose and private pathways through targeted marketing, stakeholder engagement, and business development partnerships.
The post holder will work closely with the Operations Director, Clinical Lead, and wider OMT to align marketing activity with organisational strategy, new service launches, and pathway development.
Strategic Marketing & Planning:
Identify and pursue opportunities to expand Skylight's reach across new referral markets, including universities, employers, schools, GP practices, and third sector organisations.
Set, monitor, and report on marketing KPIs (referral conversion, campaign performance, website traffic, etc), presenting performance data at OMT and board level as required.
Service & Pathway Marketing:
Ensure all marketing materials and communications comply with CQC, ASA, relevant NHS communications guidelines, GDPR, confidentiality requirements, and appropriate use of patient stories, testimonials and case studies.
Stakeholder & Partnership Development:
Build and maintain relationships with referral partners including universities, employers, occupational health providers, schools, and GP networks.
Team Leadership & Management:
Line manage junior roles within the marketing team, providing supervision, direction, and performance oversight.
Support reputational risk management, including communications relating to complaints, service issues, media enquiries or sensitive organisational updates.
Ensure patient-facing, website and digital content is accessible, inclusive and user-friendly, particularly for neurodivergent audiences and their families.

Degree-level qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
