We are looking for an enthusiastic, bubbly individual to lead our friendly Front of House Team in our busy village cafe, bar and events venue!
Ideal candidate for this role:
- We are looking for responsible, hard working, dedicated people with a real drive for succeeding in customer service.
- Own transport required as evening shifts will finish past public transport availability.
- 4 years waiting or bar experience required, with a knowledge of wines & cocktails desired.
- Barista coffee machine experience.
- Ability to train, lead and manage a team of wait staff during service and for events
- Experience with cash handling, answering the phone, taking bookings, complaint handling, stock control, ordering
- 20 yrs + required
- Personal license holder desired but the opportunity to gain this will be offered to the right candidate
· Ability to work under pressure
· A flexible approach to work is needed within this small team
· Confidence to work alone when necessary
Working hours
We are open Wednesday - Sunday brunch/lunch time, plus events on selected evenings. Hamble is a seasonal village with the population tripling in the summer so flexibility will be required around events, public holidays and busier periods including Christmas.
This role is 4-5 days a week 28-32 hours a week, hourly pay plus tips.
