About the Role
As Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the Bar & Bistro Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the venue. You'll lead by example, ensuring high standards of customer service, food and drink quality, and team performance while helping to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Bar & Bistro Manager in the daily running of the Bar & Bistro.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the front-of-house team.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest queries professionally.
- Ensure smooth service, particularly during busy periods by leading from the floor.
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and minimise waste.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and operational excellence.
What We're Looking For
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
- A positive, energetic, and hands-on approach to leadership.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong customer service focus with a passion for hospitality.
- Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- UK Driving Licence (essential as not on any public transport routes).
- Personal Licence (desirable but not essential).

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
