Valentina Restaurant, located in the heart of Weybridge, is looking for an experienced, friendly, and professional Front of House Waiting Team Member to join our restaurant team.
We are a busy, family-run Mediterranean restaurant renowned for freshly prepared food, exceptional customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for someone who takes pride in delivering outstanding hospitality and enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
The Role
As part of our Front of House team, you will:
- Deliver attentive, friendly, and professional table service.
- Welcome and seat customers, ensuring they receive a warm Valentina welcome.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant ordering system.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of our menus, daily specials, wines, and drinks.
- Confidently recommend dishes, wines, desserts, and beverages to enhance the customer experience.
- Manage your own section efficiently during busy service periods.
- Prepare and reset tables to the highest standards.
- Handle customer enquiries professionally and resolve issues promptly.
- Work closely with the kitchen and management team to deliver a seamless dining experience.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Help maintain the restaurant's high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Confidence in managing their own section.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A smart, professional appearance and a positive attitude.
- The ability to remain calm and organised under pressure.
- Excellent timekeeping, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays on a rota basis.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering memorable customer experiences.
