- 37 hours per week: 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am- 4pm Fridays with a 30 minute break.

The Academy Council at St Joseph’s are seeking to appoint a committed, highly motivated, experienced and enthusiastic Office Manager to support the school.

We need someone who:
- is able to lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the school office, ensuring a high standard of administrative and organisational support to the Headteacher and school community.
- can supervise administrative staff and ensure efficient processes are in place across communication, attendance, finance admin and data entry systems.
- can be responsible for financial administrative processes such as recording and processing income and expenditure, preparing purchase orders, receipting, and coding invoices to appropriate budget lines.
- is in sympathy with and supportive of the aims and ethos of a Catholic school.
- is approachable and can build positive relationships with parents, pupils and staff.
- is able to work as part of a close team to achieve the very best for our children.
- can provide an effective and efficient comprehensive administrative service, including a good knowledge of Arbor, payroll systems etc.
- has good communication skills with a caring and patient manner.
- has a professional telephone manner with the ability to liaise as first point of contact with parent/carers, colleagues, visitors and external agencies, upholding the ethos and values of the school.
