Direct Payment Personal Assistant Required
I am looking to recruit a Direct Payment Personal Assistant for our 9-year-old daughter.
Hours wanted:
8 hours per week (days to be agreed), all year round. Hours to be agreed.
More about the young person:
This person is a 9-year-old girl with beautiful afro hair. She has been diagnosed with autism and a learning disability. She has some verbal communication; however, her understanding is greater than her ability to express herself. Those supporting her will need to use simple language alongside visual aids to support communication and understanding.
This person enjoys a range of activities, particularly those involving water, as well as art and drawing. She also benefits from movement-based activities, has an interest in animals, and enjoys going on nature walks.
This person lives in the Weston-super-Mare area and requires support to access activities of interest within her local community.
We are seeking a support worker with experience of working with children who have disabilities.
Hourly rate
£16.47 for self-employed PA's
£12.55 for employed PA's
