Metcollect, a specialist recycling company based in Lisburn are seeking an experienced metal recycling operative with 360 and machinery driving experience to join the existing team, serving customers, processing and handling materials in our newly redeveloped Lisburn facility. A fast growing company with ever increasing volumes, Metcollect offers opportunities for career progression. this is a role requiring the grading and physical handling of scrap metals in addition to the use of plant machinery.
Reporting to the operations manager the successful candidate will receive full training on the operations of the company and will be experienced in the safe operation and maintenance of machinery. A strong emphasis is placed on health and safety and positivity of working environment which has been further enhanced by our move to new purpose built premises beside our existing site.
The role involves:
* operating and maintaining machinery
* weighing in and accurately grading and recording customer's metals
* adhering to health and safety procedures
* adhering to operating procedures to ensure effective and efficient operations
* preparing and grading wastes prior to processing
* assisting with the smooth running of the facility
* undergoing a full training program and continuous improvement training
* manual handling
* forklift driving
* machinery driving
The successful candidate will have machinery operation and maintenance experience, a 360 licence and a forklift licence and experience would be advantageous.

Pay: £16.00-£17.00 per hour
