We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in food production and preparation, with a strong background in kitchen management. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety, and leading a team of culinary professionals to deliver exceptional dining experiences. We're a small team looking to expand our offering, must be able to work independently & with others.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes while maintaining high standards of presentation and taste.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in a professional kitchen setting.
- Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
- Pastry experience required.
- Previous culinary experience within the hospitality or restaurant industry is essential.
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: From £14.00 per hour
