Hierarchy Support Services are seeking full-time, Senior Support Workers experienced in mental health and learning disabilities, to provide support within our services throughout West Lothian and Central Scotland, reporting to the Care Coordinator.
Successful candidates will have the capability to manage varying support situations as they arise and be experienced in dealing with a wide range of needs ensuring that individuals are always kept safe and secure.
Main duties will include: supporting individuals in all aspects of independent living, documentation checks, audits, conducting support meetings to set and monitor goals and any other tasks required to support the Care Coordinator to ensure the success of our service delivery. Some on-call support shifts may be required.
The ideal candidate must have:
- A commitment to delivering high quality care.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and IT skills.
- An ability to work independently in the community and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including early mornings, evenings, nights and weekends.
- You must have current SSSC registration and be educated up to SVQ Level 3 in Social Services & Healthcare, or be prepared to achieve this.
- All successful candidates will be required to become a PVG scheme member.
