This is position is for a hybrid van driver/laundry worker, normal driving shifts will run Monday/Wednesday/Friday - approximatly 8 hrs per shift from 6am to 2-3pm- with Saturdays on rotation for approximatly 4-5 hours. There is also the posibility of working in the laundry to make up the hours to a full time position.
Tasks will will involve loading either a luton sprinter or MWB sprinter with linen hampers/cages and delivering to various locations throughout Northumberland/Cumbria and Newcastle. Applicants should be over the age of 30 for insurance purposes and physically fit, some deliveries involve stairs and manhandling 18kg hampers as well as laundry carts and cages.
Laundry work will involve any and all aspects of working in a busy industrial laundry, loading washing machines, dryers, ironing machines and folders and assisting with loading vehicles.
The right candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be enthusastic and be the face of our business out on the road.
