Summerside Medical Centre is a small, friendly practice located in Leith, Edinburgh.
We currently have a vacancy for a friendly, enthusiastic, and motivated Medical Receptionist / Patient Care Adviser who can work well under pressure. Good general education, computer literacy and keyboard skills essential, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. The post is varied, challenging and requires the ability to work efficiently and accurately to ensure the smooth running of the practice. Knowledge of Vision and Docman clinical systems is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. This post is eligible for membership of the NHS Pension Scheme. May be open to job share for the right candidates.

The post is full-time:
Mon, Tues, Thurs, 9am – 6.15pm (1 hour lunch)
Wed, 9am – 12 noon
Fri, 8am – 6.15pm (1 hour lunch)
Some additional hours/overtime will be required to cover staff holidays.
