What’s the Role All About?
Bullen Healthcare is looking for a capable and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to support the Warehouse Manager in the day-to-day running of warehouse pick, pack and despatch operations.
This role is responsible for helping to ensure efficient workflow, accurate inventory management, high standards of health and safety, and effective team performance.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead by example, motivate your team, and keep everything running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will also deputise for the Warehouse Manager when required.
What you'll be doing
- Support the Warehouse Manager in supervising warehouse colleagues and coordinating daily operational activity.
- Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing and despatch processes to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of inventory accuracy, including supporting regular stock checks and resolving discrepancies.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are always followed, promoting a safe and compliant working environment.
- Monitor team performance, support operational reporting and help identify opportunities for improvement.
- Training, coaching, and developing your team to reach their full potential.
- Respond effectively to day-to-day operational issues, escalating where appropriate and supporting continuous process improvement.
- Deputise for the Warehouse Manager during periods of absence, ensuring continuity of leadership and operational control.
What we're looking for
Do you have 5+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment?
Are you a self motivated, reliable, team player with a professional approach and strong work ethic?
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse supervision, team leadership or warehouse management using a warehouse management system and MS Office.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of pick and pack operations, inventory and stock management, and warehouse systems.
- Prioritisation: Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem solving: Ability to take a proactive, hands on approach and to think quickly and make sound decisions.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or additional hours where required.
- Team-oriented: Collaborative approach, confident communicator with a focus on leading and motivating your team for success.
