About Neuron Educare Ltd
Neuron Educare is an education recruitment and student-support organisation helping individuals access suitable higher education and career-development opportunities.
As we continue to develop our presence across Bradford and West Yorkshire, we are looking for a confident, capable and results-focused Marketing and Student Recruitment Officer to join our Cleckheaton office.
About the role
This is a hands-on professional role for someone who can actively promote Neuron Educare, build strong relationships across the local community and support prospective students from their first enquiry through to application and enrolment.
The role combines student recruitment, community outreach, relationship-building, social media, applicant support and local marketing activity.
This is not a passive office-based marketing position. Success will require initiative, persistence, confident communication and the ability to turn genuine interest into completed applications and student enrolments.
You will play an important part in strengthening the Neuron Educare brand across the north of England
Key responsibilities
You will:
- promote Neuron Educare, our services and available education opportunities across West Yorkshire;
- generate student enquiries through community outreach, networking, referrals, events and local marketing activity;
- develop relationships with community organisations, employers, schools, colleges and other potential referral partners;
- speak with prospective students, understand their interests and guide them towards suitable opportunities;
- follow up enquiries consistently by telephone, email, social media and face-to-face contact;
- support applicants through the application and enrolment process;
- create and publish engaging social media content that builds awareness of the Neuron Educare brand;
- help organise recruitment events, information sessions and open days;
- maintain accurate records of enquiries, applications and recruitment activity;
- monitor progress against agreed recruitment objectives;
- represent Neuron Educare professionally at external events and meetings;
- identify new local opportunities to increase brand awareness and student recruitment.
About you
We are looking for someone who is professional, persuasive and comfortable working towards clear, measurable results.
You may already have experience in student recruitment, education, admissions, marketing, outreach, business development, customer service, community engagement or consultative sales.
Previous experience in higher education would be helpful, but it is not essential. More important is your ability to communicate confidently, build trust and follow opportunities through to completion.
You should be:
- confident speaking with people from a wide range of backgrounds;
- organised, reliable and self-motivated;
- comfortable making telephone calls and following up leads;
- able to write clearly and professionally;
- familiar with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other digital platforms;
- able to work independently and take responsibility for your activity;
- persistent without being aggressive;
- comfortable working in a target-focused environment;
- able to maintain accurate records and provide regular updates;
- motivated by helping people access education and improve their opportunities.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport are required, as the role involves travel throughout Bradford, Kirklees, Calderdale, Leeds and the wider West Yorkshire area.
Knowledge of the UK higher education sector is a strong advantage.
Additional community languages would also be welcomed.
Performance expectations
This is a results-focused role with clear expectations around outreach, enquiries, applications and student enrolments.
The successful candidate will be expected to develop a viable local recruitment pipeline, increase awareness of Neuron Educare and contribute directly to student intake across all available programmes.
Performance will be reviewed regularly, taking account of recruitment activity, lead quality, applications, enrolments and the strength of relationships developed across the local area.
Candidates should be comfortable taking responsibility for measurable outcomes while working ethically and ensuring that prospective students receive accurate and appropriate information.
What Neuron Educare offers

- a varied role combining marketing, relationship-building and student engagement;
- support from colleagues across admissions, operations and programme delivery;
