Job Summary
We are looking for a hard - working individual to join our busy contents cleaning and warehousing department. The successful candidate should be physically fit in order to lift and move goods.
Duties
- Cleaning and final inspection of varied home contents and customers goods.
- Ensuring goods are cleaned to a high standard and meet customer expectations.
- Wrapping each item appropriately to prevent damage during vehicle transport.
- Driving a company vehicle to attend customers homes to remove or return their contents.
- Managing the flow of incoming customer goods within the warehouse and into the storage facility as required, ensuring that the available space volume is maximised.
- Assisting with things such as hire equipment cleaning and preparation. Accepting and stowing goods deliveries, maintaining a tidy warehouse and ergonomic work environment.
Skills / Experience Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Full, clean driving licence is essential.
- Being organised and able to prioritise jobs.
- Being able to carry out basic data input on to a device.
- A good knowledge of goods handling and packing procedures is essential.
- Attention to detail and accuracy with tasks and quality standards is a must.
- Being able to complete tasks within agreed timescales.
