Registered Manager – Respite Service
is looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and dedicated individual ready to step into a Registered Manager role within our small specialist respite service supporting autistic individuals and people with learning disabilities.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to progress into management within a supportive and values-led organisation. Ongoing mentoring, leadership support and training will be provided to help the successful candidate develop within the role.
Our respite service supports up to 3 individuals at any one time, enabling a highly person-centred, relationship-based approach focused on quality of life, predictability, safety and meaningful outcomes.
We are looking for someone who: is passionate about supporting autistic individuals and people with learning disabilities; leads with warmth, professionalism and integrity; values relationship-based and trauma-informed support; is motivated to develop their leadership and management skills; can support and inspire a team to deliver high quality care and support.
The role will include: overseeing the day-to-day running of the respite service; supporting and developing staff; ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding and compliance; working collaboratively with families, professionals and commissioners; promoting positive outcomes and quality of life for the individuals we support; supporting transport arrangements to and from respite placements where required.
A full clean driving licence is essential.
Experience within autism and/or learning disability services is essential. Previous management experience is welcomed but not essential for the right individual looking to progress into a Registered Manager position.
In return, Jigsaw offers: ongoing leadership support and mentoring; opportunities for continued professional development; a supportive and experienced senior leadership team; the opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of autistic individuals and their families.
If you are looking to take the next step in your career within a supportive and specialist organisation, we would love to hear from you.
