About St Peter’s Nursing Home: Located on the historic St Peter’s Hospital grounds in the charming town of Maldon, our newly refurbished, 16-bedroom care home (with the capacity for 24 residents) offers a tranquil, welcoming environment. Position: BANK Healthcare Assistant
Salary: £12.71 per hour

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Personal care — assisting residents with dignity and respect.
- Observation notes — documenting every 15 minutes for 1:1 care residents.
- Infection prevention — promoting cleanliness and safety.
- Companionship — engage positively with residents to encourage mental stimulation.
- Create a calm, friendly environment — promote emotional well-being.
- Report to senior staff and nurses — ensure all care needs are communicated.
- Ensure safety — safeguard both residents and fellow staff.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (Level 3 training available!).
- Experience with Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Mental Health, Physical Disabilities, or End of Life Care is a bonus.
- Strong attention to detail — essential for high-responsibility tasks.
- Compassionate and patient personality — able to handle challenging behaviour calmly and professionally.
- Resilient, intuitive, and adaptable — capable of thinking on your feet.

- Night Shift:

Scheduling Options:
- Monday through Sunday
- Weekend availability:
- Every other weekend
- Weekends only
