Our Good Ofsted-rated nursery has built a strong reputation with local families and is home to a team of around 20 colleagues. As Nursery Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day running of the nursery, developing your team, building strong relationships with families and ensuring children receive the very best care and early years education.

Our Calne nursery is based in a welcoming market-town community, with strong local links and within easy reach of Chippenham, Melksham, and Devizes.
About the Role:
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading, supporting and developing your team.
- Maintaining the highest standards of safeguarding and statutory compliance.
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers.
- Supporting occupancy through excellent customer experience and welcoming show rounds.
- Continuing to develop the nursery and maintain high standards across the setting.
Full-time (40 hours per week), although reduced hours or a job share will be considered for the right candidate.
You will be fully supported by an Area Manager and a strong team, while also having the freedom to shape the setting in line with your vision for outstanding care and education.
You’ll need:
- A minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- A sound knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and statutory requirements.
- Experience of leading and developing a team.
- Good organisational skills and high professional standards.
- A calm, approachable leadership style with the confidence to make decisions when needed.
