Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing training programmes, delivering coaching sessions, and fostering a positive environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and personal growth. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging coaching sessions tailored to the needs of individual athletes or teams
- Develop customised training programmes to improve skills, fitness, and tactical understanding
- Provide constructive feedback to athletes to support their progress and confidence
- Organise and supervise practice drills, competitions, and team-building activities
- Ensure all activities are conducted safely in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes sportsmanship and respect among participants
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and performance assessments
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, or organisational staff to support athlete development goals
Skills
- Proven experience in sports coaching across various disciplines
- Strong teaching abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire athletes of different ages and abilities
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey instructions and feedback
- Organised with the ability to plan sessions that are both educational and enjoyable
- Ability to work well within a team environment while also demonstrating leadership qualities
- Enthusiastic attitude with a genuine passion for sports and athlete development
- Flexibility to adapt coaching methods based on individual needs and circumstances
