We're Hiring: Dedicated Bibliotherapist/Counsellor – CYP SEND
Location: Face-to-face service in Knowsley
21 hours per week, term time only
Salary: Full Time Equivalent £27,000
Actual annual salary £13,856.50
ZunTold is looking for qualified Counsellors passionate about using
bibliotherapy and creative writing in their therapeutic approach. Join our
innovative and inclusive team and help deliver meaningful emotional support to
children and young people with SEND and/or who are neurodivergent across Knowsley.
About the Role
As a ZunTold Bibliotherapist / Counsellor, you will:
- Deliver a 12-session, flexible therapy model
- Use literature and writing to support well-being
- Work in specialist schools and community venues
- Manage a personal caseload with full organisational support
- Receive external clinical supervision
- Conduct assessments
- Contribute to ongoing service development
You Must Have
- A minimum Diploma-level qualification in counselling or psychotherapy
- A passion for literature and its therapeutic uses
- A solid understanding of safeguarding practices
- Experience with children and young people with mental health and SEND needs / specialism in working with neurodiversity
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication and liaison skills with parents, schools, and Professionals
